Approaching Blue, the landscape photography website.

Welcome, here you can browse galleries containing many landscape photographs of Scotland, India, California, Barbados, France and Italy. There are also images from restored magic lantern slides from circa 1900 and a gallery of photographs of classic racing cars.

Panoramic, wide angle landscape photographs are my speciality and many of my images are produced by seamlessly stitching together several photographs in sequence to produce a high definition wide angle panoramic landscape. These can grace any wall and be a spectacular addition to your décor scheme.

I am also a great admirer of Ansel Adams who was, in my view, one of the greatest exponents of the art of creating black and white pictures.  His work is nothing less than stunning and I was lucky enough to spend some time this year (2010) in the Yosemite National Park where Ansel created a lot of his iconic images.  So, with my interest in black and white rekindled, I have added a number of monochrome images to this site.
